Maruti Suzuki intends to move out of Gurugram Plant but plans to stay in Haryana. The company is now said to be exploring other sites within the state of Haryana.
It is also understood that Haryana Government has identified and offered three sites. The land Parcels being suggested are in Manesar, Sohna and Kharkhoda in Sonipat

The current Gurugram Plant has an annual capacity to roll out 700K vehicles per annum and is situated on the old Delhi Gurugram road. Due to growth over last 4 decades, since the plant inception, this area has become crowded and is causing logistics challenges. The company is now looking for approx. 1000 acres as compared to existing 300 acres.
Earlier it was speculated that Maruti was planning to not only move out of Gurugram but also from Haryana. However in a recent clarification, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd Chairman M. RC Bhargava is understood to have told TOI that Maruti will stay in Haryana and not move out. This puts an end speculations of Maruti moving out of Haryana.
