The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) is expected to transfer the land in Pachgaon to National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), required for the shifting of Kherki Dhaula toll plaza in the coming months.

This transfer was pending due to land compensation issues which are expected to be resolved in next couple of months. Once the land transfer is completed to National Highway Authority of India, the toll shifting work will commence. The Toll shifting is expected to take about 6 months.

Based on current estimates, the authorities expect toll shifting completion by early 2021.

It will reduce congestion in the area and improve commuting time for people. The shifting of the Kherki Daula toll will make entire Delhi-Manesar industrial area stretch toll-free. The Kherki Daula toll plaza shifting will also bring relief to the people staying in the newer sectors of Gurugram.

Toll shifting will benefit commuters and the property owners in the adjoining areas.
