Post pandemic, the house demands have gone up due to low house supplies which was impacted due to construction ban during pandemic.
The home shortage in NCR has caused the rental to move up by 25-40% as reported by a leading newspaper (The Economics Times, 25 April 2023)
This increase is being seen in Noida as well as Gurugram. This rent increase is expected to last and stay for few months and years till there is a new house supplies.
